Fantastic batting performance by Mumbai! Their openers finally came good today and Michael Hussey in particular batted with class and authority. They added 120 for the first wicket and at one stage were looking to score in excess of 200. But Rajasthan pulled things back a bit in the middle by taking a couple of quick wickets and slowed down the proceedings. However, Rohit Sharma exploded at the death and powered Mumbai to a challenging total of 178/3 .

Convincing win for Mumbai! They were clinical in their performance and completely outplayed Rajasthan. The hosts were after a big total on a slowish wicket and their chase never got going. Barring Karun Nair, none of the Rajasthan batters adjusted to the conditions and their batting fell completely apart. James Faulkner and Brad Hodge did try their best towards the end but the asking rate was too high. Harbhajan Singh was excellent and the rest of the Mumbai bowlers were also very impressive. Rajasthan was just able to score 152 in 20 overs.

Michael Hussey gets the Man of the Match for his excellent batting 56 (39) .
